E-Recruitment is a method which aims a number of job seekers to apply for the given job using technology or through internet or online. This also called online recruitment. This is a popular method of recruiting employees in the current world.
Business or Corporations use this method to reach a large number of candidates and recruits the best talent for the company at less cost when it compared with the physical recruitment process.
E-recruitment includes the process of job announcement, select position and apply, collect CVs, short list the applicant and create data base, schedule interview and hire the right candidate.
E recruitment is a process of advertising to attract the candidates for selection for required jobs by means of the internet, for external candidates or intranet for internal candidates (Sills, 2014).

Over 90% of large US companies use web sites to search for candidates and preserve information of the potential candidates (Capelli, 2001).

Short comes in E-Recruitment

·         Screening millions of CVs will take more time to choose employees (Naukrihub, no date).
·         Lack of knowledge of HR on E recruiting or technology can affect the selection of candidates.
·         Every organization have different culture therefore cannot expect applicant will fit for the organization.
·         The quality of the candidates cannot be judged.
·         Keeping confidential regarding the information of the applicants should be maintained otherwise privacy will be endangered.
·         Competition is high since the information given regarding the compensation and other offers for the employees in the websites can be viewed by the other competitors so they can prepare their offers accordingly (Naukrihub, no date).
